Justin Timberlake é recordista de indicações no VMA deste ano Divulgação

O Video Music Awards da MTV foi uma das principais premiações musicais durante os anos 1990 e 2000. Com o passar dos anos, a iniciativa foi perdendo sua audiência, mas ainda é uma das mais concorridas no cenário pop mundial. No ano de 2012, a emissora americana registrou a menor audiência do programa desde o ano de 2007 e tenta reverter a situação convocando grandes nomes para se apresentar no palco armado no Brooklyn, em Nova Iorque, Estados Unidos.

Os indicados foram revelados na manhã desta quarta (17). Justin Timberlake e Macklemore & Ryan Lewis são os campeões de indicações, ambos concorrendo a seis astronautas de prata. Bruno Mars ocupa a segunda posição com Locked Out of Heaven e Treasure. Confira a lista completa de indicados:
